When is the best time to visit Karnataka?

October to February is the best period for Hampi, Hassan and Bangalore. The state has four seasons: winter in January and February, summer from March to May, monsoon from June to September and a post-monsoon period from October to December. The coast gets the heaviest rain, about 3,638 mm a year on average, so plan the coast outside June to September.

What do Mysore and Hampi offer?

Mysore Palace was built between 1897 and 1912 in the Indo-Saracenic style after a fire destroyed the wooden palace.
