What is the Force Urbania per km rate in Coimbatore?

The Force Urbania per km rate in Coimbatore is ₹18 for our 10 and 14 seater and ₹26 for our 12 and 16 seater. You also pay a day rate of ₹6,500, whichever Urbania you book. Toll and parking are extra, and our driver comes with every van.

The fare is the day rate plus the kilometres you travel times the per km rate. Send us the plan and we add it up and reply with one total, so you know the price before the van leaves. The per km rate is set per van, not by seat count, so the 14 seater costs less per km than the 12 seater.

Is there a 17 seater Urbania, and what is its per km rate?

We do not list a 17 seater Urbania. Force Motors gives the long wheelbase Urbania 16 seats plus the driver (Force Motors Urbania site), and that van is usually what people mean by the 17 seater: the count includes the driver. It is our 16 seater Urbania, at ₹26 per km and ₹6,500 a day. If you need 17 passenger seats, book the 17 seater Tempo Traveller at ₹3,500 a day and ₹20 per km.

How much does Urbania rental cost per day? A worked example

Urbania rental costs ₹6,500 per day, before the km charge. For a day trip from Coimbatore to Ooty of about 220 km, the 14 seater comes to about ₹10,460 and the 16 seater to about ₹12,220, plus toll and parking.

Here is how that adds up. Coimbatore to Ooty is about 90 km each way. With some driving between the sights up there, the day comes to roughly 220 km. Your quote uses the real kilometres for your plan, so a shorter or longer day changes the total.

For a trip of several days, the day rate counts once for each day and the kilometres are added for the whole trip. Three days in the 14 seater covering 600 km works out to 3 × ₹6,500 plus 600 × ₹18, which is ₹30,300 before toll and parking.

Which Urbania seat version suits your group?

Count everyone travelling, children included, and pick the smallest van with a seat for each person. For 8 to 10 people the 10 seater Urbania fits, for 11 to 14 the 14 seater, and for 15 or 16 the 16 seater.

We rent the Urbania in 10, 12, 14 and 16 seats only. If you were looking for an 8 or 9 seater, book the 10 seater: it is our smallest Urbania, at ₹6,500 a day.

Urbania or Tempo Traveller: which should you book?

Book the Urbania if you want the newer, premium van from Force Motors. Book a Tempo Traveller if you need 17 or 18 seats, or want the lowest fare for 10 to 18 people. A 10, 12 or 14 seater Tempo Traveller costs ₹3,000 a day, against ₹6,500 for an Urbania. The per km rate is the same ₹18 if you pick the 10 or 14 seater Urbania.

Why does the Urbania cost more than a Tempo Traveller?

The Urbania is the newer, premium van from Force Motors, and it is priced at ₹6,500 a day against ₹3,000 to ₹3,500 for a Tempo Traveller. With 16 people, the 16 seater day rate is about ₹405 each. If budget matters more than the model, a 14 seater Tempo Traveller takes up to 14 people at ₹3,000 a day.

How comfortable is the Urbania, and how much luggage fits?

Force Motors builds the Urbania (often written Urbaniya) on a monocoque body with 45 degree reclining seats, individual AC vents, USB charging points, reading lamps, sealed panoramic windows and a cabin tall enough to stand in, per the Force Motors Urbania site. Luggage room depends on how full the van is, so tell us your bags when you book.

Fittings can differ between variants and model years. If one matters to you, such as charging points for a long drive, ask us about the exact van on your dates. What every Urbania we rent includes: our driver, AC and a music system.
