Day plan and places you will see

  1. Day 1: Morning: Marudhamalai and Perur

    Start at Marudhamalai, the Murugan temple on a granite hill of about 600 feet at the western edge of the city. The Coimbatore district page for Marudhamalai temple gives its timings as 6 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 8 PM, with free general darshan, about 14 km from Gandhipuram. Go early to beat the heat and the queue. Then drive to Perur Pateeswarar Temple, one of the more peaceful places in Coimbatore for elderly parents.

  2. Day 2: Midday: Eachanari Vinayagar Temple and lunch

    Eachanari sits on the Pollachi road south of the city. We check opening times for your date. Lunch is at a restaurant of your choice on the way (meals are not included).

  3. Day 3: Afternoon: Gedee Car Museum and VOC Park

    The district lists the G.D. Naidu collection as the Gedee Car Museum on Avinashi Road: more than 100 vintage cars, open 9 AM to 6:30 PM (last entry 5 PM), closed on Mondays, entry ₹175 for adults and ₹70 for children. On a Monday we swap it for another city stop. Then VOC Park. The zoo inside it may not be open, so we plan on the park itself.

  4. Day 4: Evening: Brookefields Mall and drop

    End at Brookefields Mall for shopping or dinner, then your driver drops you at home, your hotel or the station.

Best time to go and distances

Any month works. Avoid Mondays if the car museum matters, and expect long temple queues on festival days. Every stop is within about 50 km of the city centre, so the day goes to the places, not the road.

This route sticks to well-known stops. Waterfalls such as Kovai Kutralam and Siruvani, both on the district tourism list, are out in the hills and not part of this day.

₹1,600 to ₹4,000 per person. Your figure depends on the date, the vehicle and group size; the vehicle cost is shared, so a larger group pays less each. Call or WhatsApp us with your date, pickup point and head count. The quote names your vehicle and the total for the day.

Unlike hiring one of the taxis in Coimbatore by the hour, the quote fixes the route and the stops. Our fleet: sedans (Dzire, Etios, Amaze), Ertiga, Innova, Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross, Xylo, Tempo Traveller 12/14/17/18 seater, Force Urbania 10/12/14/16 seater, a 21 seater coach van, a 24 seater mini bus, and 30 and 50 seater buses. A couple fits in a sedan, a family of six in an Innova, and for 10 or more ask for a 12-seater Tempo Traveller quote for your date. For about 20 people, the 21 seater coach van fits.

Can we change the stops?

Yes. Drop the mall or spend longer at the museum; tell us when you ask for the quote. Your written quote states exactly what is included, including any extra hours or kilometres.

Does this tour include Isha and Adiyogi?

How do payment and cancellation work?

A 30% advance confirms your trip, and the balance date is in your written quote. Cancel 15 days or more before the trip and we refund the full advance. From 14 to 3 days before, we refund half the advance. Within 2 days of the trip, the advance is not refunded.
